Jason Haaf is a writer and visual artist living in Brooklyn, New York. He believes in unruly perspectives and strong beginnings on both paper and film. His works have appeared in BUTT and Hello Mr. magazines, Rendering Unconscious: Psychoanalytic Perspectives, Politics & Poetry, The Trapartisan Review, Truant zine, Seattle Erotic Art Festival Anthologies 2024-2026 and Shower with Affection Volume 2: Group Shower. He is the editor of Bent Book: a queerish anthology, and co-author of the artbook Watchword. Can I see your niche?, published by Trapart Books, features Haaf’s homoerotic collage and cut-ups. His debut novel, Harsh Cravings is published by Polari Press (2022). Wasteland, an art novel and collaboration with artist Scooter LaForge, is out now, published by Doable Guys.
